The Excalibur Group Recognized With Town Proclamation.
WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 18th, 2019) – The Excalibur Group is pleased to announce that the Town of Hillsboro, Virginia recognized The Excalibur Group with an official Proclamation during the annual leadership training and named September 18th Excalibur Day.
The proclamation, presented by Hillsboro’s Mayor Vance and Vice-Mayor Marasco, recognizes Excalibur’s contributions to strengthening defense and local and national workforces. The Excalibur leadership team, gathered at Hillsboro’s iconic Fieldstone Farm Bed & Breakfast for their annual staff training.
Excalibur’s President, Marcus White, stated, “To be recognized with Hillsboro’s Proclamation, and to have our very-own Excalibur Day in recognition of the commitment our experts have demonstrated in helping meet mission-critical services using local and veteran workforces is rewarding.”
The Proclamation read, “Whereas: In recognition and admiration of The Excalibur Group, its leadership, integrity, entrepreneurship and public service and its roles in the field of workforce development and critical national security projects, and its commitment to our nation’s veterans, Therefore: In sincere appreciation of The Excalibur Group’s patronage and support of businesses in The Gap, it is with authority vested in me as Mayor of the Town of Hillsboro, that I welcome The Excalibur Group to The Gap and so declare September 18, 2019 as Excalibur Day.”
The Excalibur Group plans to commemorate this day annually in the Town of Hillsboro with volunteer participation in beautification projects as a way to acknowledge the aligned mission of their business and the town’s values on local workforce, and care for the nation’s service members.
