Excalibur Legal Staffing, LLC, (DBA Excalibur Staffing Services) has been confirmed an SBA HUBZone certified firm in Washington, D.C.

The Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) program helps small businesses in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities. These preferences go to small businesses that obtain HUBZone certification in-part by employing staff who live in a HUBZone. The company must also maintain a “principle office” in one of these specially designated areas.

As a staffing firm, Excalibur will help large government contractors satisfy their small business goals with their small minority-owned status, and recently awarded HUBZone certification. Excalibur is committed to the integrity of the HUBZone program that promotes local employment.

The federal government has a goal of awarding three percent (3%) of all federal prime contracting dollars to HUBZone-certified small businesses annually.
