Excalibur Awarded a DC Supply Schedule
WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 9, 2014) – Excalibur Staffing Services, a minority-owned HUBZone certified staffing and consulting firm, announced today it has been awarded a competitive contract to provide support to the District of Columbia. Excalibur will perform as a vendor on the DC Supply Schedule to provide Temporary Services to city agencies and programs.
The DC Supply Service Schedule (DCSS) is the city’s multiple award schedule procurement program for providing commercial products and services to District government agencies. Other governments within the Metropolitan Washington Region may utilize the DCSS as well. Currently, Excalibur is supporting the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) for the District of Columbia, an independent agency who is dedicated to continually improving the administration of criminal justice in the city. Excalibur provides technical writers to support this agency’s mission. With the new award of the DCSS Excalibur hopes to serve agencies across the city with professional service ranging from IT to communications.
Marcus White, President says, “Excalibur is very proud of this win. It allows us to support our hometown in a way we were not able to before. Our philanthropic efforts are focused on our local community and now our professional efforts can further expand here. With our commitment to our HUBZone certification used in the Federal Marketplace we aim to hire local candidates for the projects driven from our DC Supply Schedule.”
