2014 Summer Intern Selected

WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 3, 2014) – Excalibur Staffing Services, a minority-owned HUBZone certified staffing and consulting firm, announced today it’s 2014 Summer Intern selection.

Michael Dawson of NE DC will serve as a Business Development Intern for Excalibur Staffing for the duration of the summer. Michael is a student at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where he is studying Global Affairs and Business and Intelligence Analysis.  Michael was a student leader at a local DC Public High School, Bell Multicultural. He has extensive volunteer service including traveling to Haiti as a Global Youth Ambassador with Global Kids, volunteering at local clinics and at Children’s National Medical Center as a research assistant, and working on public awareness campaigns around HIV and underage drinking.

Excalibur took note of his passion for community and his commitment to professionalism, demonstrated through previous work experience as a legal intern at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP. His internship with Excalibur will include the task of creating new relationships with educational institutions across the country. Michael will be building a pipeline for students and alumni with specific skill sets to provide them access to job opportunities with Excalibur’s top clients.
