Excalibur Team,

As a minority-owned small business we have witnessed the recent events in our country with heavy hearts.  Not only are we combatting the global health crisis but now also forced to face the ugly and unfortunate truths of systemic social injustices that continue to plague our communities all over the United States.  What we want our employees to fully understand is that Excalibur’s core values of hard work, excellence, family-first, inclusion, and wellness will never change! We care about your concerns. We are here to support you. We are here to support our communities.

Many aspects of our news cycle create emotional responses that are challenging to control and justifiably so.  Now is the time to lean into positive change.  Now is the time to raise our collective consciousness.  We encourage you to put energy into self-reflection and self-care. Excalibur is offering support in the following ways:

  • Employee Wellness – Ensuring our employees are well both mentally and physically remains a top priority. Weekly on Mondays and Thursdays our very own Kevin Simpson hosts a group meditation called the “Zen Corner”  for employees and our customers. Meditation has endless benefits such as, reducing stress, anxiety, lengthening attention span and enhancing self-awareness to name just a few.   • EAP Program – Excalibur will be offering an employee assistance program that allows for confidential contact with mental and emotional health professionals that can support your needs.  Once this program is finalized, HR will be announcing the final details.
